What information do we collect about you?
We collect and process relevant information about individuals when they consent to participate in surveys, focus groups and interviews that we run as part of our research projects. We also collect publicly available contact information as part of project-related stakeholder mapping exercises. We do not collect personal information through our website, except through our Contact Us form.
Any information gathered as part of primary research is, unless otherwise stated, anonymised for storage and securely retained for a period of 12 months after the end of the research project, after which it is deleted.
How will we use this information about you?
We use information collected through primary research to help us to answer research questions. Anonymised data may be shared with our clients as part of standard project outputs, typically a research report. No identifying data will be shared with clients unless we have explicitly asked for and gained your consent before doing so. We will never share your data beyond the immediate project team and the client who has commissioned the research.
Marketing
We do not send marketing communications.
Access to Your Information
You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please contact our Strategic Director at jo@starling-research.org.
We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information that you believe to be inaccurate.
